Dr. Carolyn graduated from Melbourne University in 1987 and began her career in Kilmore under Dr. Peter Ellis. After working overseas and furthering her studies in Australia, she returned to Central Victoria and purchased Broadford Veterinary Clinic in 1997, where she has been ever since.
Her special interests include animal behaviour, creating low-stress environments, reconstructive and trauma surgery, and procedures to help brachycephalic pets breathe easier (BOAS). Carolyn is also passionate about mentoring and developing veterinarians and nursing teams.
She has owned many pets and currently shares her life with her Cairn terrier Blondie, two rescued cats, Boots and Toffee, and enjoys spending time with her horses.

Dr Kelly Rogers graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1998 and has been dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality veterinary care ever since. With a strong passion for small animal internal medicine and diagnostic ultrasound, Kelly particularly enjoys solving complex medical cases and supporting pets with chronic or ongoing health conditions.
A lifelong learner, Kelly is committed to continually expanding her knowledge and exploring new approaches to ensure her patients receive the very best care. She values working closely with pet owners to develop thoughtful, individualised treatment plans that support both pets and their families.
Kelly joined Broadford Veterinary Clinic in 2013 and has become a valued and familiar face within the community. Outside of work, her love of animals continues at home, where she cares for her own range of dogs, cats and horses — giving her a genuine understanding of the joys and responsibilities that come with animal ownership.

Dr. Arpan joined the team in 2025 as a newly graduated Veterinarian from the University of Sydney. He is looking forward to consolidating his skills and his main areas of interest are surgery, emergency and critical care, and behavioural medicine. His absolute favourite is seeing puppies and kittens for their vaccination appointments.
As part of his studies, Dr. Arpan gained experience in a number of practices. He decided to join our team as he shares our strong focus on compassionate patient care and supporting pet owners to make empowered, informed decisions about their pet’s healthcare.
Dr Arpan received the Australian and New Zealand College of Veteriary Scientists award for Most Commendable Paper in an Australian Journal for his paper ‘A survey investigating owner perceptions and management of firework-associated fear in dogs in the Greater Sydney area’. We are delighted for his contributions to the Veterinary team and enjoy his updates and tutorials on subjects such as snakebites, tick paralysis, and behaviour.
Dr. Arpan shares his home life with an Australian Kelpie, Tex.
